Tony, our server was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, funny, comfortable. He explained and made us feel comfortable in our questions! We had our first day-date and it was phenomenal! Food was perfect, suggestions were on point and once again Tony, our server was exquisite

I love Eataly. No matter what city I’m in, if there’s an Eataly, I’m there. Tonight at Terra at the Silicon Valley Eataly was no exception. From the cocktail, wine, and limoncello to the app, pasta, and dessert, it couldn’t have been better. The alpine pop up was very cute too. Richard provided excellent service and recommendations. Ate and drank more than I should have.

My niece treated my sister, daughter, and me to lunch at Terra, the rooftop restaurant at Eataly Silicon Valley. Valet parking was out front, but we parked in the garage nearby. The place has an awesome vibe, open and airy with that rooftop charm, perfect for good conversation and great company. It wasn’t crowded, and our waitress was super friendly, keeping things nice and smooth. Food-wise, my sister and daughter got the Tagliatelle alla Norcina and really liked it, but my daughter said it wasn’t worth the hefty price tag. My niece loved her green pasta, maybe Pappardelle Verdi, but I’m not sure. My Tagliata was a total letdown, though. The steak came pre-sliced, super dry and bland with tough, chewy bits, maybe tendon. Felt like all the flavors got left on the cutting board. It only came with roasted peppers, which were tasty, but maybe adding a little veggies would’ve helped balance it. Terra’s rooftop setting is what makes it special, and you go for the atmosphere and good company. The food can feel a bit pricey for what you get, but my niece was sweet to cover the bill, making it a lovely outing. Go for a special occasion or stick to lighter fare to enjoy the rooftop charm.

Analisa was very accommodating to our service! She made sure our meals were well prepared and recommended the finest dishes this restaurant had to offer :) she even asked if we had any food allergies which I really appreciate! Will definitely come back again! Oh, and the tiramisu was to die for! Not a tiramisu fan, but this one was delicious!

Terra delivered a warm, delightful experience. We recently grabbed patio drinks, and hosted both an afternoon bridal luncheon and a dinner here. Our local and out of town guests loved it. For the drinks and dinner visits, we did not need to wait, and we'd still recommend making reservations. The staff, seating, and ambiance are lovely, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Even when a lively (awka akward) first dinner date next to us got a bit boisterous, they eventually settled down, and we continued to enjoy our meal. You'll definitely want to try the salads – they're amazing! (Pictured) We couldn’t say no to the sourdough bread and butter and, gelato! The beautifully crafted drinks (one pictured) might take a moment to arrive, and as we waited, we had more than enough sparkling and flat water. Next time, we're going to try the chicken skewers, versus the lamb, which was not tasty, pencil thin, mid/ok. (Lamb pictured) Terra is a fantastic venue. It’s fun exploring the store, wines, and pizza and dessert areas before or after a meal. We especially appreciate the overall Eataly experiences in Silicon Valley, and have enjoyed it outside of California too.

We had a great experience visiting Terra. The ambience was good. Our servers were very attentive and we also enjoyed our food. The pasta was great. I had ordered the Prickly Pear non-alcoholic drink, which I enjoyed as well. They have a dessert named "Terra" which is a must have.

Awesome group experience at Terra. The ambience is definitely the biggest draw in my opinion. Great open air setting for big groups, great conversation. The food is pricey, but not overwhelming for the overall experience. We tried the $69/per tasting menu. Our server was super friendly and helpful, and knew that there was more on the menu we wanted to try. She advised to order the tasting menu for four out of the seven of us, and then adding a couple pastas and a meat. This worked perfectly. The four-person tasting menu size was more than enough for all of us to sample, and we had leftovers of the branzino, which was delicious. I’ll definitely be back to Terra for a date night or group outing.

We visited this Italian restaurant for an early dinner and had a wonderful experience. We started with the burrata cheese and house breads—both were a hit. The warm breads came with a dollop of creamy butter that elevated the dish beautifully. For mains, we shared the chicken skewers and spaghetti, keeping things light so we could save room for dessert. The skewers were juicy and flavorful, and the spaghetti was equally satisfying. Dessert was the highlight of the evening—they really make a show out of it! The gelato cart rolled right up to our table, allowing us to choose our scoops and toppings, all served with flair. The tiramisu was not just delicious but also a spectacle—the server unwrapped it tableside, letting the rich chocolate sauce cascade down in a dramatic finish. My son ordered the Terra, their signature dessert: ice cream encased in a crisp chocolate shell, surrounded by a generous sprinkle of chocolate cake crumbles. It was easily one of the most memorable dessert experiences we've had in a long time. The ambiance is airy and inviting, with an open, terrace-like feel and lush greenery overhead. Excellent service and a delightful atmosphere. Highly recommended!
